Gwynedd Friends School seeks candidates who are passionate about working with young children in a play-based program. Our teachers help students become confident learners, model peaceful conflict resolution, and promote a sense of belonging in the wider community. An understanding of, and appreciation for, Quakerism and early childhood pedagogy are important to our work as educators at Gwynedd Friends School. We look for creative, organized, patient and nurturing candidates. Lead teachers must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in early childhood or elementary education and have experience working with young children. Assistant teachers must have at least 2 years of experience working with young children and/or possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in early childhood or elementary education.
