Catherine has worked in many different school settings teaching Preschool up to 12 graders in Camps, as an Outdoor Educator, Nutrition Educator, Garden Educator and as a Professional Chef.  She received her BFA from Tyler School of Art, worked around the world as a Film Editor, Recipe Developer, Food Stylist, Executive Chef and Executive Director of a Preschool. She has years of experience watching how young children are naturally curious and creative.  She enjoys getting to know and understand each individual's strengths and weaknesses so that she can support and encourage growth, kindness and confidence.  

When she is not working at GFS, she can be found tending gardens, hiking with friends or traveling to visit dear friends far away.
