AFTERNOONS AT GFS

We offer two afternoon options to meet the needs of our families and extend learning and play beyond the morning program.

Lunch Bunch: 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Lunch Bunch is a yearly program offered to all of our friends in the Playgroup and Preschool classes. Children eat lunch with friends and enjoy free play before pick up at 1pm. 

Enrichment:

Preschool: 12:00 p.m. - 2:45 p.m.

Pre-K, Kindergarten: 1:00 p.m. - 2:45 p.m.

Gwynedd Friends School’s Enrichment Program provides a longer day for families who would like to have their child stay on a regular basis and participate in a specific program that builds on itself from week to week. Enrichment programs are offered to our Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten friends. Teachers in each subject area have designed a curriculum that is in line with our mission, philosophy, and vision. Enrichment classes follow an intentional curriculum, building a foundation of learning from the very first day. 

Preschool children will have time for lunch as part of their Enrichment program. This is included in the time and cost of the Enrichment class. There is no need to register for Lunch Bunch separately if signing up for an Enrichment class.  Kindergarten and Pre-Kindergarten children will begin Enrichments at 1pm.  

Examples of our afternoon programs include, Art and Artists, Nature, Mindful Movement and Creativity, Tinker Lab, Multimedia Art and Music.
