GWYNEDD FRIENDS SCHOOL Summer Camp

Our beloved summer camp program is held during June and July for current GFS students. Families can sign up for one week or all eight! Camp hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The Gwynedd Friends School’s Summer Camp is held outdoors and groups are split up according to age. Children will enjoy chasing monarch butterflies through our butterfly garden, playing games on the ball field, walking through the nature trail, and enjoying water play with our sprinklers and water tables. The vegetable garden provides an interactive learning environment as children will have the opportunity to pick and taste tomatoes, peppers, green beans, and even watermelon!

Our campers will have the opportunity to bake and cook in the kitchen, attend Meeting for Worship, art and gym classes and listen to stories on big blankets in the grass. There will be field games, music, storytelling, dramatic play, and sensory activities offered each day. Time for reflection, practicing kindness, building friendships, and celebration of the Quaker testimonies are also woven throughout the morning program.

Children will bring in a nut/peanut-free snack and lunch each day to enjoy before going home. On Fridays, we will offer pizza, fruit, and a refreshing treat to end the week together.
